Happy New Year!
We hope you had a wonderful holiday season. Now that 2014 has officially begun, it’s time to put your list of New Year’s resolutions into action. If you’re planning to buy an Ocean City condo this year, winter can be an excellent time to arrange a visit to familiarize yourself with your surroundings. Though summer tends to be the busiest season on Maryland and Delaware’s Eastern Shore, there’s still plenty to do when the weather cools off. To make the most of your trip to Ocean City this winter, be sure to schedule some time for the following activities.
Hit the boardwalk
Though brimming with tourists in the summer months, Ocean City’s famous boardwalk can be a peaceful place to ride your bike or go for an invigorating jog in the winter.
Go shopping
Ocean City’s Gold Coast Mall offers residents and visitors a variety of stores, restaurants, and services. Browsing the shops at Tanger Outlets is another great way to spend an afternoon.
Watch a sunset or sunrise
On the Western side of the island, you can catch a beautiful sunset over the bay. In the morning, the sunrise at the beach is equally as impressive.
Visit a museum
The Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum gives residents and visitors a fascinating glimpse into life under the sea. Family favorites include the Aquarium Room, shipwreck exhibits, and mermaid displays.
Dine at a local restaurant
Whether you’re craving seafood or pizza, Ocean City is home to a wide variety of restaurants that cater to even the most discriminating palate.
